Lieutenant Governor’s Advisor Farooq Ahmad Khan today chaired a high-level meeting of the Department of Social Welfare to review the functioning of the Department of Welfare. The concerned authorities informed the adviser about various JKUT and centrally sponsored programs implemented for the welfare of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. The meeting also highlighted the measures taken to protect the rights of people with disabilities in addition to taking stock of the details of assets currently not used for any purpose and options for the use of the Miskeen Bagh complex.
